urlfy.site is a free URL shortener built around one idea: shortening a link should take a few seconds, not a few steps. Paste a long URL, get a short one back, and share it wherever you need to — no account, no forms, no friction.

Why we built it

Long URLs are hard to share cleanly. They break in text messages, take up too much space in social media bios, and look messy on printed materials. We built urlfy.site to solve that one problem well, without bundling it into a bloated dashboard full of features most people never use.

How it works

When you shorten a link, we generate a short, random code and store the connection between that code and your original URL. Whenever someone visits the short link, our system looks it up and redirects them straight to the destination. Your recent links and their click counts are kept in a simple history on this site, stored locally in your own browser.
